My first experience in home staging began almost 5 years ago when I assisted my father with a complete remodel of a home. Together we took a very dated home, gutted it and brought it back to life with new flooring, a modern kitchen, beautiful new bathrooms, updated lighting, new cabinetry throughout, and upscale furnishings. We also added landscaping and furniture to the outdoor patios. We did most of the renovation ourselves. It was a huge undertaking but a wonderful experience. I now not only appreciate all that goes into re-doing a home but I can also do it myself!My husband, Chris Hughes, grew up on the island and has been a real estate agent for over 5 years. Through him, I have knowledge of the current real estate market. At this time the competition is great and each home needs to be distinguished from the others. I know what a home needs to set it apart from the competition and I can help you, the homeowner, realize the sale.
